School cross country

We have started off term 3 with a bang in LH1! On tuesday we had our annual cross country. Although
the weather was a bit horrible we all had tons of fun running around in the mud and putting in our 100%
excellence.  Three of our students placed first in the Yr 8 boys/girls and Yr 7 girls. We are very proud
of the effort everyone put in and of those students who were able to place in the top ten. Ka Pai!

Smart Learners Create Original Images

This week we were using the webcam to create original images as well as using the Explore Tool

to find images that are labelled for reuse

We also used an online photo editor, Lunapic to change a selfie.

Cybersmart with Manaiakalani

Every week Mrs Torrie comes to take us to 

learn how to be Cybersmart.

We work on our devices and are focusing on following 

the Kawa of Care.

This week we worked in Google Drawings and how to search the web safely to locate images that are labelled for reuse.
